The Denver Colorado branch of Birthline had a new website made, about 10 years ago, which served its purpose very well for that time. In order to keep up with the changing web user needs and their internet usage, an attempt had been made to partially convert the original website design into a partial merged CMS system.

The effort had been extremely well intentioned, but broke many of the original page designs, layouts and navigation, and was very difficult for the staff to maintain and update; leaving the site outdated since 2007.

In order to help refresh the website, and to make maintenance extremely easy for the staff to update, Viseo suggested converting the website to a more viable MODx CMS system, as well as updating the look and feel of the site in order to meet their changed needs over the past decade.

The biggest challenge was to directly take the original content and code (now a mixture of html and some obscure CMS coding), and drop it directly into the updated website.

At the same time, it was critical to maintain the original dual purpose target audience usefulness (sections for clients, and another for supporters).

The MODx CMS system provided a very viable solution to meet their growing needs.
